MELBOURNE WARRIORS GIRLS BASKETBALL USA TOUR

Training and Information Night
Thursday 14th March 2019
6.15pm – 9pm at Mallauna College

Melbourne Warriors Basketball Club are running a USA Girls Basketball Tour in 2019. The tour is happening between late June early July 2019. We have a team set to go and the training has already begun to help the girls prepare. We are currently a team of 9 players but would like to take 12 girls over to the USA and so we are after a few more girls who might be interested in joining the 2019 tour.

The current lot of Girls all currently play Rep basketball but its not mandatory. The age group of the Girls we need are in the U16-U18 age group.

If you think there might be some interest from any girls from your club or association then we would love them to attend the next training session Thursday March 14th.

ABOUT THE COACH – GARY JONES
Gary Jones is the Head Coach for the Sherbrooke Suns Senior Women’s BIG V Program as well as the 18.1 MUVJBL Boys program. Gary is a highly regarded informative style coach who leads and directs his teams through clear and descriptive guidance. He has developed a strong reputation for building strong team orientated programs with an emphasis on combined contributions to deliver successful results. He is a player first Coach meaning his true focus is on developing his players to be individually accountable and self motivated to achieve overall success within any team environment they find themselves in on and off the court.
